God controls everything! With one small exception.
This video has been making the rounds, but I couldn't help but post it here. A few people have already noted the contrast between this song and "My Lord I Did Not Choose You."
I hope that even those who agree with the theology of this song can see that the logic it uses probably isn't the best way to make a case.
Me? I'm not really interested in the debate, I just love what happens at the :49 mark.

"but my own sons, come to me by choice"... *argh!*
It's all wrong... music, theology, singing... all wrong...

Matthew,
Thank you for your music. I enjoy "My Lord I Did Not Choose You" so much and I just could not help but to notice the difference between the God exalting words of your song, and the man exalting words of the PCC. Thanks for your faithfulness brother.

However, they almost prove their own point by singing this song. Do you think God really willed that sucker onto the stage?
I especially loved the blowing into the microphone to demonstrate the sound of the breath of life. Very effective.

I went to PCC and am so embarrassed by the whole thing.
But yeah, the :49 thing was hilarious too.

I'm speechless! Never has wrong theology, terrible music and a cringe-inducing aesthetic combined so memorably.

Maybe I'm clueless, but I didn't find anything at the :49 mark - could someone enlighten me???
Love, love, love your music, by the way. Thanks for your faithfulness!
